About Us

Welcome To QCAH

Queen City Animal Hospital opened its doors in Charlotte, NC in June of 2019.  From the beginning, we knew we wanted to build something special, and that we have. From our Fear-Free approach to care to keeping up with the latest and greatest in veterinary medicine, we are here to care for your pets as if they were our own.

Our doctors and staff take continuing education in the veterinary field very seriously and stay on top of new advances in veterinary medicine. As such, we strive to provide the most innovative medicine available.

Caring For All Your Pets

We offer preventative care, sick visits, routine and advanced surgeries, dental visits and cleanings, extensive in-house and referral lab work, laser therapy, ultrasounds, xrays, and urgent care when needed. Not only do we treat dogs and cats, but we see many “exotics” such as birds, rabbits, reptiles, guinea pigs, hamsters, ferrets, aquatics, and other pocket pets.

920 Belmont Ave- A Building With History

About Our Hospital Building

Our hospital home at 920 Belmont Ave is a building with great history! When we were searching for a home for QCAH, we had a few things on our wish list:

  • A building with character!
  • Central to 28205 so that we may be close to our clients and their pets!
  • Enough space to grow, but small enough to be a warm, welcoming environment.

We found all we could want and more in our new hospital home at 920 Belmont Ave. The space was built in 1936 as a neighborhood grocery store/market, and therefore has great wooden beams, exposed brick, and a history rooted in the community. Located in the historic Belmont neighborhood, nearby to Plaza Midwood, NoDa, Villa Heights, and Optimist Park – we are within two short miles of everywhere we could hope for! And last but not least, we have about 3,300 square feet of hospital- enough to grow but still comfortable enough to not feel like we will get lost in the space.

We believe in supporting the community that supports us, and look forward to meeting our neighbors at local events, out and about in the neighborhood, and when you and your pets come to visit our hospital!
